Admissions

Commitment Deposit

Full-time students in all programs (except Academic Upgrading)                  $100.00

  • Full-time domestic students in all programs, except Academic Upgrading, are required to pay a non-refundable, non-deferrable deposit at the time of registration of $100 (Canadian Dollars) or, provide verification of sponsorship.
  • This deposit is due within 4 weeks of acceptance.
  • Fees can be paid at any College location using cash, che​que, money order, Visa or MasterCard.
  • Students who have sponsors paying their fees and school costs must provide a letter to the Office of the Registrar stating what is being covered along with any other invoicing information.
  • Any type of special payment options must be arranged prior to the program start date.

Tuition Deposit

Students accepted to all oversubscribed programs (Addictions Counselling, Advanced Care Paramedic, Practical Nurse, Primary Care Paramedic and Social Work)                  $300.00

  • Domestic students who have been accepted into an oversubscribed program (Addictions Counselling, Advanced Care Paramedic, Practical Nurse, Primary Care Paramedic and Social Work) must pay a $300 (Canadian Dollars) tuition deposit in order to hold their seat in the program.
  • This fee is non-refundable except where students make their payment early and withdraw in writing before May 1 they will receive a refund of their deposit.
  • This fee is due May 1. If it is not paid by May 1, the students may forfeit their seat in the program.

Apprentices

To apply for any of the apprenticeship programs offered by Northern Lakes College you must be a Registered Apprentice with Apprenticeship and Industry Training first and obtain your AIT ID.
