Programs and Tours
The Aboriginal Village phase, which opened in the spring of 2003 has delivered a series of highly successful and well-received elementary sc
hool programs. Students who have visited the Aboriginal Village have had the opportunity to experience "life in a canvas village" which included making bannock, playing traditional games, learning about the fur trade, building tipis and trying out traditional clothing. Participant evaluation sheets indicated that the setting and content were extremely well received.
