Boom Truck 2 Crane & Hoisting Equipment Operator - Boom Truck Apprenticeship Training

Crane and hoisting equipment operators service and operate the hoist and swing equipment used to move machinery, materials and other large objects. Boom truck operators set up, service and operate hydraulic booms that are mounted on turrets that are affixed to trucks and are capable of moving heavy loads. Operators manipulate a number of pedals and levers to rotate the crane and raise and lower loads. They often perform all or some of these operations simultaneously.

Welder      Welder Apprenticeship Training

Welders join metals in beams, girders, vessels, piping and other metal components, make metal parts used in construction and manufacturing plants, and weld parts, tools, machines and equipment. Welders have a high earning potential, enjoy building things and work with little direction or supervision. If you  are an Apprentice and ready for your technical training, Northern Lakes College is offering training for Periods One, Two and Three.

Electircal        Electrical Apprenticeship Training

Electricians install, alter, repair and maintain electrical systems designed to provide heat, light, power, control, signal or fire alarms for all types of buildings, structures and premises. Electricians may be involved in construction, maintenance, or do a variety of electrical work. Some electricians specialize in specific types of installations such as residential (housing developments); commercial (office buildings); institutional (hospitals) and industrial (plants, factories). There are many opportunities in this career! If you are an Apprentice in this trade and are ready for your training, call us.
