H1N1 Plan

The Pandemic (H1N1) 2009 virus continues to circulate in Alberta. It is very important for staff, students and college visitors to practice good hygiene to reduce the spread of the virus.
What should members of the public do?
- Cover mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze
- Wash hands frequently
- If you develop an influenza-like illness (fever/cough or other respiratory symptoms), stay home with symptomatic treatment:
- Rest
- Increase fluids
- Use over the counter meds for fever and aches and pains
- If symptoms are more severe, seek medical attention
