Program Description:
To print Program Description, press HERE The Life Skills program provides an opportunity to learn effective problem-solving skills and build self esteem. This will be accomplished through structured experiential learning. Over the term of this 3-month program, students will identify personal values, strengths and growth potential. They will practice skills associated with responsible decision-making, problem-solving and evaluating, as they relate to effective self-management in an educational or work place setting.
Students will practice selecting appropriate alternatives in response to real life situations. They will evaluate these selected courses of action according to criteria identified by the students themselves.
