Distance delivery – course packages (comprised of information sheets, examples, & exercises) can be mailed or can be downloaded. Students can work through this material, checking the answers to the exercises as he/she goes along. Instructors are available to clarify problem areas. The final exercise for each module is a review with no answers provided. Upon completion of the review, the student mails or faxes it to the instructor for marking. When the instructor is satisfied with the results of the review exercise, he will forward a test for that course to the designated invigilator. If the review exercise indicates that more work is needed in a certain area, then further exercises will be sent to the student until he/she shows a mastery of the problem area; the course test will then be sent to the invigilator. A time limit of three months is given to complete each course.
