Slave Lake, Alberta (May 6, 2020): At a time when we are all practicing physical distancing and many are staying home, Continuing Education & Corporate Training at Northern Lakes College is joining many of its fellow post-secondary institutions and offering free or discounted training to help serve communities.
While the department’s in-person classes are suspended, the Continuing Education & Corporate Training department is offering online alternatives where possible. In recognition that many have not experienced NLC’s unique Supported Distance Learning (SDL) model, the department, in collaboration with its partners and instructors, is offering selected FREE online training opportunities.
These offerings include timely courses such as Leading during Turbulent Times and Introduction to Zoom, and business courses like Podcasting for Business, and Writing Effective Proposals.
To view these and other limited-time, selected training opportunities, visit the Northern Lakes College website.
A distance learning college, Northern Lakes College provides the most accessible and flexible educational opportunities through innovative delivery.
