Application Deadlines and Term Dates

While Northern Lakes College accepts applications until the start date, applying late can result in delays in acceptance, being waitlisted, or falling behind in coursework. To ensure adequate processing time, Dual Credit students must submit their completed applications by the following deadlines:

• Term 1 Courses: July 1, 2025
• Term 2 Courses: December 1, 2025
• Term 3 Courses: April 1, 2026
• Summer courses: June 1, 2026

Incomplete applications and missing prerequisite and corequisite information will lead to longer processing times. For Term 1 courses, Northern Lakes College will be unable to process applications requiring additional information during July and August if division support staff are unavailable. To ensure student applications are processed before division staff go on summer break, we strongly encourage submitting applications by early June.

Applications submitted after these deadlines are not guaranteed to be processed in time for course admission.
