Pre-Requisites and Co-Requisites

Each course listing includes the term offering, the number of Post-Secondary Credits (PSC), High School Credits (HSC), the delivery method, pre-requisites, and co-requisites.

Course pre-requisites and co-requisites are marked as follows:

• Dual Credit Courses have distinct prerequisites compared to the regular stream Northern Lakes College students. For accurate information on Dual Credit prerequisites, refer to this document instead of the program information pages on the Northern Lakes College website.
• Pre-Requisite (PR): Must be completed before starting the course. You can apply to NLC before completing the PR, but you will receive a conditional acceptance letter until your official mark is on your Detailed Academic Record (DAR).
• Co-Requisite (CR): Must be enrolled in at the start of the course. This enrollment must be on your Detailed Academic Record (DAR) before being officially enrolled in the course.
• Be sure to check with the students’ school division to make sure they meet any pre-requisites the division may have.
