Program Description
The program provides the structure to build basic skills to access higher education opportunities through enhanced literacy, numeracy, essential life skills, and employability skills development. The program is aimed at serving the needs of learners who do not posses high school level education.

Academic Requirements
An ACCUPLACER assessment is required. Minimum allowable cut-scores: NG Reading - 217 and NG Arithmetic - 203.
Transferability
The courses are transferable to the Adult Basic Education program at Northern Lakes College. They are also preparatory courses to adult High School at Northern Lakes College which is an accredited High School program in Alberta.
