Course Description

Students will develop skills in writing for the workplace and in their own job search process. They will apply business correspondence formats and adapt specific styles to emails, memos, letters, and a newsletter. They will review related grammar and punctuation rules to assist them in eliminating common business writing problems. In addition, students will learn to assess their own skills before entering the job market. They will develop a resume, write a letter of application, and participate in a workplace interview.
