Ilana Zinyk

Ilana Zinyk has a passion for helping others expand and strengthen their leadership skills. Having worked in a leadership role for approximately eight years, she knows first-hand the struggles, navigations, and triumphs managers often experience. Her managerial work and interests in leadership led her to pursue her Master of Arts in Leadership Degree from Royal Roads University, which she completed in 2013. Ilana works both in the public sector and as a private consultant, specializing in developing and facilitating leadership development courses, coaching leaders to realize their full potential, and team effectiveness work.

Slave Lake: Apr 12, 2018 - Apr 13, 2018

This course will teach you how to monitor employee performance on an ongoing basis so that you can identify what employees are doing well and opportunities for coaching and problem-solving to help your employees achieve optimal performance.
 Use a 5-step process to manage performance
 Learn to set goals and develop good performance plans with employees
 Support new employees through orientation and training
 Discuss a variety of methods to monitor and review employee performance
 Provide opportunities for ongoing communication and assistance to help employees achieve their goals
 Conduct meaningful performance evaluations

Withdrawals and Refunds

Your registration will be fully refunded when notice of withdrawal is given seven (7) days before the course start date. When notification is received less than seven (7) days before the course start date, an invoice will be issued for full payment of the course. When you are unable to attend your course, you may arrange for someone to take your place by Contacting Continuing Education & Corporate Training at work@northernlakescollege.ca or 780-849-8623.

Cancellation

Northern Lakes College reserves the right to re-schedule or cancel a course that lacks sufficient registrations to provide a satisfactory learning atmosphere. In this event your registration fee will be refunded in full or applied to the re-scheduled course.
