Kevin Gilhooley, MMP Instructor
Kevin Gilhooley has been in the Trades since he was a 17 year old aircraft apprentice with the British Royal Navy. He has worked in various industries from Food & Drug to the Plastics business. Having spent the preceding 10 years in and around the extrusion process he now manufactures glass insulation. As well as training apprentices & operations staff, Kevin has held the following positions; a maintenance shift supervisor/planner, a Maintenance Manager for one of the largest plastic producers in the global market. Kevin's present employer is one of the world's largest building materials manufactures where Kevin is managing & building a maintenance department in one of their Canadian plants. Kevin is Scottish (has an accent) & emigrated to Canada in 1989. He has been married to his wife Carol for 27 years and they have two adult children. His hobbies include history, fishing, and horseback riding and since moving to Alberta from Ontario he has taken up hunting.
Based on the course text, Uptime, Module 1 develops the framework for thinking about a strategic approach to maintenance management that is integrated with the business. Drawing on the elements presented in the "Maintenance Excellence Pyramid" of Uptime, participants in Module 1 will learn how strategy, people, basic care, materials management, performance management, work management, support systems, and tools such as RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) and RCFA (Root Cause Failure Analysis) can work together to build a culture of excellence.

Withdrawals and Refunds
Maintenance Management Professional Certificate Program Modules:
An administrative fee of $50 will be charged for all cancelled or transferred registrations.
There are no refunds for materials/shipping.
Less than 7 days before the module starts, a partial refund of 75% of the tuition fee is granted if the withdrawal of the registration is received:
Module 1 - immediately after the 1st class. No refunds given after 1st class.
Modules 2-8 - immediately after the 2nd class. No refunds given after 2nd class.
Northern Lakes College reserves the right to re-schedule or cancel a course that lacks sufficient registrations to provide a satisfactory learning atmosphere. In this event your registration fee will be refunded in full or applied to the re-scheduled course.
Fees are due at the time of registration. Northern Lakes College accepts cash, cheque, money order, debit, VISA, MasterCard, American Express. Invoicing to a company requires a Purchase Order (PO).
