Dharmen Dhaliah has over twenty-six years of working experience in the private and public sectors where he has held various positions in physical asset management, maintenance management, reliability engineering, and project management in a wide range of industries. He currently works for the Town of Halton Hills as Corporate Asset Manager. He is a registered Professional Mechanical Engineer, a Certified Asset Management Assessor, a Project Management Professional, a Maintenance Management Professional, and a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional.
Dharmen is a member of TC 251 for the ISO 55000 standards. He is on-line instructor of the Maintenance Management Program (MMP), the "Planification et gestion de la maintenance" (PGM) program, and the Asset Management Professional Certificate (AMPC) program.

Effective work management ensures that the right things are done at the right time using the right resources and the right tools improving reliability while minimizing interruptions to production processes and/or services. This module provides a study of the fundamental principles of the work management process in addition to the basics of planning, scheduling and work coordination methods. Upon completion of this module, participants will have a sound understanding of work management tools and how to apply them to effectively transition from reactive to proactive maintenance. Key learning elements include:
Effective use of resources
Aligning maintenance activities with production or service schedules
Developing and documenting maintenance strategies
Integrating proactive maintenance tactics
Sessions are delivered LIVE ONLINE via internet conferencing - distance learning. Ten, 3 hour weekly evening sessions.

Withdrawals and Refunds
Maintenance Management Professional Certificate Program Modules:
An administrative fee of $50 will be charged for all cancelled or transferred registrations.
There are no refunds for materials/shipping.
Less than 7 days before the module starts, a partial refund of 75% of the tuition fee is granted if the withdrawal of the registration is received:
Module 1 - immediately after the 1st class. No refunds given after 1st class.
Modules 2-8 - immediately after the 2nd class. No refunds given after 2nd class.
Northern Lakes College reserves the right to re-schedule or cancel a course that lacks sufficient registrations to provide a satisfactory learning atmosphere. In this event your registration fee will be refunded in full or applied to the re-scheduled course.
