Abrar Ahmad

Abrar has been the Maintenance & Reliability Enablement Specialist at a leading oil company. His current role is to help establish sound systems, processes, training and methodologies to support integrated reliability programs and related projects. Abrar has worked in the industry for 28+ years and has very diversified experience in the oil and gas, petrochemicals, fertilizers and other industries. He has more than 18 years of experience with Computerized maintenance management systems specifically SAP Plant Maintenance. In addition, Abrar is currently the President of PEMAC Alberta Chapter and an approved instructor for multiple MMP courses.

This module links maintenance strategies with those of production and operations. By studying production methodologies maintenance managers will be better prepared to apply these techniques to improve the performance of their business unit and align their efforts to support the production goals of the organization.

Withdrawals and Refunds

Maintenance Management Professional Certificate Program Modules:  An administrative fee of $50 will be charged for all cancelled or transferred registrations.  There are no refunds for materials/shipping.  Less than 7 days before the module starts, a partial refund of 75% of the tuition fee is granted if the withdrawal of the registration is received: Module 1 - immediately after the 1st class. No refunds given after 1st class. Modules 2-8 - immediately after the 2nd class. No refunds given after 2nd class.


Northern Lakes College reserves the right to re-schedule or cancel a course that lacks sufficient registrations to provide a satisfactory learning atmosphere. In this event your registration fee will be refunded in full or applied to the re-scheduled course.

Fee payment

Fees are due at the time of registration. Northern Lakes College accepts cash, cheque, money order, debit, VISA, MasterCard, American Express. Invoicing to a company requires a Purchase Order (PO).
