This one-day course is designed for personnel working with or near flammable substances in the oil and gas industry. The primary focus is to safely monitor and control these substances.
The program includes:
Introduction to flammable substances
Principles of flammable gas/vapour detection
Care and preparation of combustible gas monitors
Interpreting combustible gas readings
Certificates through ENFORM are valid for 3 years. Pass mark is 70% on practical and written exams.

Appropriate clothing is required (i.e. jeans, pants, proper footwear such as running shoes). You will be required to do practical exercises during this course.
Please be advised that participants who are unable to perform the required exercises will not pass the course. (Eg. Employees who are on Worker's Compensation on light duty.)
Please have photo ID available upon request for exam/temporary certification purposes. Instructors for any Enform courses are required to visually confirm your photo ID and if they cannot confirm your identity you may not be certified for the course.
