Whether you use snowmobiles for work or for pleasure, this course will help you become a safer and more competent snowmobile operator. Topics covered include safety, operations and basic maintenance. Attendees must provide their own snowmobile. Appropriate cold-weather attire is required.

Important information about this course:
 You need to provide your own snowmobile and it has to be registered and insured.
 Appropriate safety equipment & clothing is required (i.e. helmet, jeans, pants, proper footwear, outdoor gear, gloves). You will be required to do practical exercises during this course and they will be conducted outside.
 Course starts promptly at the start time stated. Students who are late may be refused admission.
 Employers are advised not to send injured employees who are unable to perform the required exercises to pass the course, e.g. employees on Workers' Compensation or on light duty.
 Please have picture ID available upon request for exam purposes.

Withdrawals and Refunds

Safety and Driver Training Courses:  Your registration will be fully refunded when notice of withdrawal is given two (2) working days before the course start date.  When notification is received less than two (2) full working days before the course start date no refund will be issued.  If you are unable to attend your course, you may arrange for someone to take your place by contacting Continuing Education & Corporate Training at work@northernlakescollege.ca or 780-849-8623.

Cancellation

Northern Lakes College reserves the right to re-schedule or cancel a course that lacks sufficient registrations to provide a satisfactory learning atmosphere. In this event your registration fee will be refunded in full or applied to the re-scheduled course.

Fee payment

Fees are due at the time of registration. Northern Lakes College accepts cash, cheque, money order, debit, VISA, MasterCard, American Express. Invoicing to a company requires a Purchase Order (PO).
