Course Description
This course introduces the Boreal Forest and describes how both natural and human-caused disturbance affects ecology and connects habitat to the species present. It explains the concepts of natural, current, and future ranges of variation to provide a basis for planning for healthy landscapes.
This course is one of ten courses in the Advanced Forest Stewardship Certificate and is delivered in partnership with Northern Lakes College and Woodland Operations Learning Foundation (WOLF https://www.w-o-l-f.ca/ )

In order to successfully complete this course, you must receive a minimum grade of 70% on any quizzes, and fulfill instructor determined participation requirements.
