An EMR is required to have the knowledge and skills to administer naloxone in the event you come in contact with someone who is suffering from an opioid overdose. The EMRN1000 course will provide you with the competencies to administer naloxone.

The theory portion of the course is self-paced and includes coursework and a final exam. A practical component is scheduled upon successful completion of the coursework and final exam.
