Ekti Cardinal

Ekti Cardinal is Plains Cree originally from Saddle Lake. She was raised traditionally in a rich and diverse culture. Ekti has taught Cree 10, 20 and Conversational Cree. Ekti speaks both Plains and Woodland Cree. She enjoys teaching those who are interested in the Cree language and culture. Ekti is a celebrated aboriginal artist and incorporates her creative experience in her teaching.

Do you want to know how to speak basic phrases and greetings in Cree and learn about the culture at the same time? Join us for a six-session NLC LIVE online course that will teach beginner Cree speakers the basics. You will learn numbers, the days of the week, basic greetings, basic introductions, basic conversation phrases and some Cree songs to help you remember it all. Information about the Cree culture and where root words come from will also be covered. These sessions will cover both the Plains & Woodland Cree pronunciations.

Withdrawals and Refunds

Your registration will be fully refunded when notice of withdrawal is given two (2) working days before the course start date. When notification is received less than two (2) full working days before the course start date an invoice will be issued for full payment of the course. When you are unable to attend your course, you may arrange for someone to take your place by Contacting Continuing Education & Corporate Training at work@northernlakescollege.ca or 780-849-8623..

Cancellation

Northern Lakes College reserves the right to re-schedule or cancel a course that lacks sufficient registrations to provide a satisfactory learning atmosphere. In this event your registration fee will be refunded in full or applied to the re-scheduled course.

Fee payment

Fees are due at the time of registration. Northern Lakes College accepts cash, cheque, money order, debit, VISA, MasterCard, American Express. Invoicing to a company requires a Purchase Order (PO).
