Pre-requisite: Course 1: Asset Management Principles and Strategic Development
Obtain an overview of risk management tools and techniques and how these techniques can be used to drive performance improvement through the planning, decision-making and operational phases of any corporate objective. See risk management in the context of holistic Asset Management in which all classes of assets are included: physical assets/equipment, knowledge/information assets, human resources and strategy assets.

This course is recommended for mid-career professionals from IT, engineering and/or business management who have responsibility for managing decisions with respect to the core life cycle functions such as design, selection, operation, and maintenance of an organization's assets.

Leonard is an experienced international management consultant with over 40 years of professional experience. He focuses upon improving clients' organizational performance through improvements in their maintenance, reliability and asset management strategy, practices and processes. He has worked and consulted in a number of different asset intensive industries, including oil & gas, petrochemical, mining, manufacturing, forestry, power generation, and electrical transmission and distribution. Leonard is a long-term member of PEMAC and was a long-serving member of the board of directors. He has taught a number of MMP and AMP courses, and has developed and reviewed content for a number of courses for PEMAC and clients.

Withdrawals and Refunds
An administrative fee of $50 will be charged for all cancelled or transferred registrations. Tuition will be fully refunded less the $50 administration fee when notice of withdrawal is given 14 days before the course start date. A partial refund of 75% of the tuition fee is granted if notice of withdrawal is received less than 14 days prior to the course start date and up to 14 days after the course start date.
Fees are due at the time of registration. Northern Lakes College accepts cash, cheque, money order, debit, VISA, MasterCard, American Express. Invoicing to a company requires a Purchase Order (PO).
