Micheline Wood

As a fourth-generation chef, Micheline started her career in 1986 at a small bakery, and worked there for two years. In 1993, she started her post-secondary career taking on many roles within a culinary department. In 1997, while managing the `front of the house' in the culinary department, Micheline completed her first year in Culinary Arts. She moved on to work as a department chef and went on to complete her Red Seal in 2000. Micheline became chef patissier after completing her Red Seal. She continued her education in food sciences and completed her baking certificate in 2005. After becoming duel ticketed she moved on to be a culinary instructor. In 2010, Micheline obtained the role of the program coordinator of Culinary Arts department in post-secondary. She retired in 2012 yet continued her passion and instructed Continuing Education courses and catered large functions. Throughout Micheline's career, she competed in many gingerbread-baking competitions, claiming first place for five consecutive years and has extensive experience in fine dining.
