David has been a Maintenance and Trades college instructor for the past five years. Prior to being an instructor, he spent the majority of his career with a multi-national pulp and paper company. While maintenance has always been his passion, he was fortunate enough to be involved at many areas and levels of the company including Superintendent (Maintenance, Training and Shutdown), Supervisor (Production and Maintenance), trainer, tradesman and operator. The broad and balanced experience has given him a unique insight into how the many different parts of an organization interact! Being a life-long learner himself, he is able to help the MMP participants in their understanding of why the various modules included in the program are important, how they fit together and how their roles and the company's operations will be enhanced by that understanding.
