This module focuses on maintenance efforts to ensure that physical assets safely, capably, reliably and repeatedly perform to their designed specifications. The focus is on techniques to develop maintenance tactics that will address how the assets are used, how they are likely to fail, the consequence of failure and identifying maintenance tactics that are both feasible and worth doing. After developing tactics the module will focus on how tactics need to be implemented and their effectiveness tracked.

Sessions are delivered LIVE ONLINE via internet conferencing - distance learning. Ten, 3 hour weekly evening sessions.
Course materials include a textbook and a participant workbook. The participant workbook is available in Moodle (the Learning Management System used for this course) as a pdf that you can download. Access to your course in Moodle is available 14 days before the course start date.

His current role is to help establish sound systems, processes, training and methodologies to support integrated maintenance and reliability programs. Abrar has worked in the industry for 35+ years and has very diversified experience in the oil and gas, petrochemicals, fertilizers and other industries. He has more than 20 years of experience with Computerized maintenance management systems, specifically SAP Plant Maintenance. In addition, Abrar is the past President of PEMAC Alberta Chapter, Past Member Board of Directors of PEMAC Canada and an approved instructor for multiple MMP and AMP courses.

Withdrawals and Refunds
An administrative fee of $50 will be charged for all cancelled or transferred registrations. Tuition will be fully refunded less the $50 administration fee when notice of withdrawal is given 14 days before the course start date. A partial refund of 75% of the tuition fee is granted if notice of withdrawal is received less than 14 days prior to the course start date and up to 14 days after the course start date. Fees paid for materials and shipping are non-refundable.
Fees are due at the time of registration. Northern Lakes College accepts cash, cheque, money order, debit, VISA, MasterCard, American Express. Invoicing to a company requires a Purchase Order (PO).
