Advanced Practice (Ambulance)


Course Description

The Advanced Ambulance Practicum provides opportunity for students to apply all skills and concepts learned throughout the paramedic program and will be their final practicum evaluation before graduating as entry level paramedic practitioners. Students will provide safe quality care within their scope of practice while being directly supervised by an experienced paramedic. Students will follow their preceptor's assigned rotation for a minimum of 600 hours. During the advanced ambulance practicum, students may be required to travel; all travel costs will be incurred by the students.
