Program Delivery
+Full-time blended delivery. The program has asynchronous online lectures, lab week seminars, and a field placement. The program is delivered using distributed learning technologies (Brightspace and Collaborate). The didactic theory is delivered as online asynchronous lectures, available in Brightspace as recordings, this enables students to access the theory lectures at their convenience. In addition, students have access to discussion forums, online quizzes, course learning resources and learning activities, in Brightspace.
There are two onsite lab seminar weeks throughout the program. Students are required to attend and participate in each onsite lab week in order to be successful in the program. During the instructor led onsite lab seminars, students will review, practice and be evaluated on Advanced Care Paramedic skills as learned in the ACP Upgrading Program.
