Course Description

This course will prepare the paramedic student to manage patients with emergent cardiovascular conditions. Throughout the course, the concepts of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) will be applied, including transcutaneous pacing, manual defibrillation, and cardioversion. Students will study advanced cardiac diagnostics including 12 lead electrocardiogram acquisition and interpretation.
