Course Description

This course covers theory on how the Health Care Aide (HCA) will function effectively as a health care team member. Consideration is given to personal safety, environmental safety, workplace hazardous materials, and client safety. Safety is stressed throughout the remainder of the Health Care Aide program and the rest of the HCA's career.
