Course Description

Move into the realm of advanced communication. Using principles of human psychology, you will learn to make your communications more meaningful and effective. Using principles of human psychology, you will learn to make your communications more meaningful and effective. This course will provide you with the techniques to present with confidence and focus. You will be invited to practice your skills by making a presentation to your colleagues. You will receive feedback on what you are doing right and how to turn it up a notch to make your presentations even better.

 Understand the steps of making effective presentations getting organized, presenting your material, responding to questions
 Learn how to engage, inform and motivate your audience
 Overcome fear and nervousness

This course is part of the Advanced Skills for Supervisors Certificate Program.

Withdrawals and Refunds

Tuition will be fully refunded when notice of withdrawal is given 7 days before the course start date. If you are unable to attend your course, you may arrange for someone to take your place by contacting Continuing Education & Corporate Training at work@northernlakescollege.ca or 780-849-8623

Cancellation

Northern Lakes College reserves the right to re-schedule or cancel a course that lacks sufficient registrations to provide a satisfactory learning atmosphere. In this event your registration fee will be refunded in full or applied to the re-scheduled course.
