Treatment Planning, Case Management, and Crisis Intervention


Course Description

In this course students will learn the CACCF core functions of treatment planning, case management, crisis intervention, client education, and referral. This course will address key issues such as designing specialized programs to meet individual client needs and will emphasize the importance of including family in the treatment process. Finally students will be introduced to case management methods of on-going assessment, evaluation and relapse prevention in order to ensure that treatment plans continue to be relevant.

Course Number



It is recommended that applicants possess an Alberta High School Diploma with a mark of 50% in English 30/30-1 or 60% in English 33/30-2. Mature students will be considered based on an English Equivalency Assessment.
