Course Description

BEL 101 Science is the first of three levels of science courses at the pre-high school level. Students will develop their skills of inquiry and problem solving. They will also develop positive attitudes toward the study of science. They will consider the responsible application of science. Units include basic skill development in the areas of chemistry, weather, physics, and geology. These science units are rich in hands-on activities with concepts applicable to real life and career contexts.
