Public Sector Compensation Disclosure
Public sector bodies are now required to post online the names and compensation paid to:
- all members of the Board of Governors
- employees who earn over $129,809 (2018)
- employees who earn over $132,924 (2019)
- employees who earn over $135,317 (2020)
- employees who earn over $136,805 (2021)
- employees who earn over $141,183 (2022)
- employees who earn over $150,219 (2023)
This is a requirement under the Public Sector Compensation Transparency Act (2015), which applies to:
- agencies, boards and commissions governed by the Alberta Public Agencies Governance Act (2013)
- independent offices of the Legislature
- employees of Covenant Health
- other entities identified in the regulations
