Public Sector Compensation Disclosure

Public sector bodies are now required to post online the names and compensation paid to:

• all members of the Board of Governors
• employees who earn over $127,765 (2017)
• employees who earn over $129,809 (2018)
• employees who earn over $132,924 (2019)
  
• employees who earn over $135,317 (2020)
• employees who earn over $136,805 (2021)
• employees who earn over $141,183 (2022)

This is a requirement under the Public Sector Compensation Transparency Act (2015), which applies to:

• agencies, boards and commissions governed by the Alberta Public Agencies Governance Act (2013)
• independent offices of the Legislature
• employees of Covenant Health
• other entities identified in the regulations
