Mental Health Awareness Workshop Available to Residents of High Level

The Northern Lakes College High Level Community Education Committee presents Mental Health Awareness Workshop. Available to residents of High Level on Monday May 10, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Participants will learn strategies for creating a more inclusive work environment that reduces
stigma surrounding mental illness.

Free Courses for Slave Lake Residents!

The Northern Lakes College Slave Lake Community Education Committee is sponsoring three courses to residents in Slave Lake. FREE OF CHARGE!

The courses are Food Safety Certification, Mental Health & De-Escalating Training and Basic Security Guard Training. Courses are online and can be completed at anytime that works for you during April, May, or June 2021.

Digital Literacy and Productivity and Financial Literacy. FREE one-hour online courses sponsored by the Northern Lakes College Peace River Community Education Committee. All courses will be delivered online.

Digital Literacy:
April 7 - An Introduction to Email course
April 14 - Get Yourself Organized with Outlook Calendar course
April 21 - You’re Hired! Sharpen Your Resume with Microsoft Word course

Financial Literacy:
May 5 - Be Your Best Budgeting Self! Managing Money Basics course
May 12 - Manage Your Money with Microsoft Excel course
May 19 - Be in Charge of Interest and Loans with Microsoft Excel course


All courses will be delivered online and take place on Wednesdays from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Wabasca Residents: Are you in need of Defensive Driving, TDG, or WHMIS courses?

NLC Stony Point (Wabasca) Community Education Committee is sponsoring 75% of each student’s registration fee through April and May 2021!
