H2S Alive and Ground Disturbance Trainings in Cadotte Lake
The Cadotte Lake CEC is sponsoring in-person safety trainings with no fees to community members!

Standard First Aid Free Training in Cadotte Lake
The Cadotte Lake CEC is sponsoring a two day, in-person Standard First Aid - Level C CPR/AED for residents of Cadotte Lake and surrounding communities.
Registration is required to attend and 18 seats will be given away on a first come, first served bases. Light refreshments will be provided.

Let the Northern Lakes College Cadotte Lake Community Education Committee (CEC) sponsor your next Continuing Education course!
Residents of Cadotte Lake, Little Buffalo, and surrounding communities can register for any NLC Continuing Education Course and upon completion of the course the CEC will reimburse you the registration costs up to $150 per person.
Courses must be completed by May 15, 2024.

Non-Restricted Firearms Safety Training Course
The Driftpile Community Education Committee is sponsoring a non-restrictive Firearms Safety Training course.

FOX CREEK CEC
Bring A Friend Paint Night
The Fox Creek CEC is sponsoring a local Student Wellness activity in partnership with the Fox Creek Library. Each local student is invited to bring a friend and join us April 11th from 7pm - 9pm.
Registration deadline: April 5th, 2024
Location: Fox Creek Greenview Multiplex's Flex Room
Registration is on a first come, first served basis. If the spots are not filled, students will be picked at random to invited a second friend. For Fox Creek NLC students only.

Practicum Support
The Fox Creek CEC is offering Practicum Support for students in all Northern Lakes College programs. $150 award per student is available to offset the cost of traveling to practicums and labs required by their program. Students can only apply once per semester.
*This is for Fox Creek NLC students only. Registration is on a first come, first served basis.

Northern Lakes College Fort Vermilion Community Education Committee Student Awards
Eligible students for End of Year Awards must have attended for the entire academic year.
Application Deadlines
Term 1 – January 31, 2024
Term 2 – May 30, 2024
Submit applications to the Student Learning Assistant at the end of each term.
MONTHLY AWARDS
$25/ Month
Academic Upgrading Students with attendance of 95% or better will receive $25.00 per month.
SEMESTER AWARDS
Academic Upgrading - $75/ semester in each category
• Highest grades
• Best effort in Adult Basic Education
• Best effort in Academic Upgrading

Careers and University Studies - $75/ semester in each category

OTHER AWARDS
Convocation Assistance UP TO $200
Prepare a formal business letter asking for assistance. Ask Student Learning Assistant for further details.
Chantel Marie Bulldog Award $1,000
Full-time or part-time student attending Fort Vermilion Campus or living in Fort Vermilion. In good academic standing, in financial need, facing/overcoming barriers or obstacles and show dedication to studies. Can be nominated by faculty or staff.
