Course Description
Forest managers in Alberta apply wildlife conservation principles in all phases of harvest planning. The people who carry out those plans will benefit by knowing when specific practices are required, and why it makes a difference. The goal is to increase awareness of the legislation and strategies in place in Alberta that are designed to protect species at risk. Anyone who reads the Annual Operating Plan or is given a harvest plan map and must operate according to the ground rules will benefit from this course.
