Course Description
After completing this 3 day comprehensive training, students will be knowledgable in safe and effective techniques to work safely and precisely with a chainsaw. Approximately 25% of the training is in the classroom with the other 75% being hands-on training. All chainsaw equipment is provided, the only additonal PPE that will be required is steel-toed boots and work gloves.
This 3 day training will include hazard analysis & risk management & emergency procedures for on-ice incidents. It will also include teachings of safe techniques for brushing, bucking and limbing, as well assessing potentially dangerous trees & precision tree falling.

Important information about this course:
• Course starts promptly at the start time stated. Students who are late may be refused admission.
• Appropriate clothing is required (i.e. jeans, pants, proper footwear such as running shoes). You will be required to do practical exercises during this course.
• Please be advised that participants who are unable to perform the required exercises will not pass the course. (Eg. Employees who are on Worker's Compensation on light duty.)
• Please have photo ID available upon request for exam/temporary certification purposes. Instructors for any Enform courses are required to visually confirm your photo ID and if they cannot confirm your identity you may not be certified for the course.
