Introduction to Podcasting

Details

Course Description

In this course, you will learn to create your very own podcast with no previous experience necessary. This eight-module online course will cover basics of on-air presentation, as well as how to prepare, record, host, interview, produce, edit, publish and build and online audience. Matthew Marcone and Jordan Maskell- with a combined 15 years' experience in podcasting- demonstrate all of the required equipment and software needed to guide you through this process. They also provide a template for you to release your first podcast online at no additional cost.
By the end of the course, you'll have a recording that you can share online with family and friends to showcase your podcasting skills, and have a newfound confidence in your ability to communicate confidently, both online and in-person.
Podcasting is also a great medium for promotion and building online-based businesses, so learn about an exciting new industry with knowledgeable and friendly instructors willing to answer any questions you may have.

You will need a laptop or computer, USB microphone, or a phone with the ability to record audio for this course.
For best results, a mixer and XLR microphone, and male to female XLR cable would also be handy, although they are not required.
