Woodland Water Quality, Erosion Control, and Crossing Construction

Course Description

This course provides information about the fundamentals of water quality and helps develop competency in watercourse crossing construction. By learning the fundamentals, industrial construction personnel will create less sedimentation, reduce losses to aquatic habitats and reduce construction and maintenance costs. Resource companies will also be exposed to less risk of contravening existing provincial and federal legislation.

This course is one of six courses in the Forest Stewardship Certificate and is delivered in partnership with Northern Lakes College and Woodland Operations Learning Foundation (WOLF https://www.w-o-l-f.ca/ )

Register for all 6 courses to complete the Forest Stewardship Certificate, or register for the individual courses that interest you.

In order to successfully complete this course, you must receive a minimum grade of 70% on any quizzes, and fulfill instructor determined participation requirements.
