Course Description

This course addresses the essential knowledge and advanced concepts for medication administration in the Advanced Care Paramedic scope of practice. Topics include therapeutic physiological effect of medication in treating patients across the life span. This course will be delivered concurrently with the PARA 2100 and PARA 2300 courses so that students may apply the pharmacological knowledge to treatment pathways in caring for the medical and trauma patient.
