Course Description

During the hospital practicum, students will provide safe quality care within the full scope of practice for entry level advanced care paramedics, including endotracheal intubation, advanced cardiac life support, and obstetrical care, including delivery and management of the neonatal patient. Students will be supervised by registered nurses and physicians in the emergency room, operating room, intensive care unit, labour and delivery department, and pediatric department.
