Course Description

In this course, students will study the value of music as it relates to children ages 0-9 years old. Students will learn how to create a meaningful framework of music activities and experiences to implement into various childcare settings as well as early elementary classrooms. This will include the creating of a personal toolbox of music instruments, activities and lesson plans that can be added to over time. This course takes into account the fact that each student has a varied background of musical training and makes available an open ended learning opportunity for all.
