Course Description

Physical Geology provides an overview of the structure and materials that makeup the surface and interior of Earth, its importance in supporting humans, societal responsibility to manage this resource, and the principles of geoscience used to investigate and inform sustainable actions. Development of science as a field of study is supported with learning about both physical and historical geology examples including plate tectonic theory and deep time.
