This course explores writings and cultural productions by and about Indigenous women that examine and interpret representations and misrepresentations of Indigenous women arising from the following: oppressive and inaccurate stereotypical images created and perpetuated
within settler-colonial literature and other cultural productions; settler colonial institutionalized policies of both Canada and the United States.
