Course Description

This course introduces students to a survey of the essential concepts in social psychology and to some classic and contemporary research in the field. It explores the phenomenon of social influence and social behaviour with an in-depth look at attitudes and attitude change, conformity, group processes, prejudice, prosocial behaviour, aggression, and interpersonal attraction. By exploring and understanding the social context of human behaviour, students will have more insight into how to impact their environments.
