This course develops student's understanding of Indigenous groups' relations with each other and the broader society in Canada. Topics include decolonization and relations with the state, demography, Indigenous organizations, Indigenous nationalism and nation-building, power, social class, intergenerational trauma, Indigenous women's issues, and public policy.
