Northern Lakes College Board Chair Reappointed for Second Term

Slave Lake, Alberta (June 27, 2025): Northern Lakes College is proud to announce the reappointment and redesignation of Barry Sharkawi as Chair of The Board of Governors Northern Lakes College. Mr. Sharkawi’s appointment is for a term of three years via Order in Council.

Chair Sharkawi remains committed to ensuring Northern Lakes College continues to be recognized as a first-choice, community-based institution, delivering quality programs and services throughout the region. He looks forward to working alongside his fellow Governors in the coming term and deeply appreciates their ongoing dedication and support.
