Course Description

This optional four-week practicum is aimed at giving students exposure to a work setting and to develop the skills they learned during the Human Resource Management Diploma program. Students are responsible for approaching employers to request a placement. Students are asked to select offices where they have not been an employee and where they will not be supervised by a relative. The placement must be approved by the instructor to ensure that the experience is appropriate. This practicum is dependent upon when the student and employer are available but must fall within the term dates.
