Course Description

This microcredential delves into the history and current status of Indigenous hunting, gathering, and land stewardship. As you explore and interact with the content, you will learn about hunting and gathering rights and responsibilities, the harvesting of medicinal plants, and historical and contemporary stewardship. You will be provided opportunities to reflect on concepts such as rights and responsibilities, preservation, traditional healing, and worldview.

Withdrawals and Refunds

Tuition will be fully refunded when notice of withdrawal is given 7 days before the course start date. If you are unable to attend your course, you may arrange for someone to take your place by contacting Continuing Education & Corporate Training at work@northernlakescollege.ca or 780-849-8623

Cancellation

Northern Lakes College reserves the right to re-schedule or cancel a course that lacks sufficient registrations to provide a satisfactory learning atmosphere. In this event your registration fee will be refunded in full or applied to the re-scheduled course.

Fee Payment: Fees are due at the time of registration. Northern Lakes College accepts cash, cheque, money order, debit, VISA, MasterCard, American Express. Invoicing to a company requires a Purchase Order (PO).
