From Tormentor to Mentor was created to help managers and employees understand the differences between psychologically safe and toxic workplace environments with the goal of encouraging us all to intentionally choose actions and words that contribute to healthy and safe workplaces.

"From tormentor to mentor" is structured as a self-study course in four sections. Each section has text, reflection questions or exercises, images and videos to help understand and apply the concepts to specific workplace contexts.

The four sections are:

1. Workplace Harassment and Bullying: Legislation and definitions
2. Dealing with Workplace Bullying
3. Psychologically Safe Workplaces
4. Eliminating Workplace Violence

When all four sections have been completed, students receive a certificate of completion.

Certificate requirements:
1. Read all course text
2. Watch all 10 short videos
3. Download all 6 pdfs
4. Complete all 3 course quizzes
5. Comment in at least 4 of 9 reflection question/discussion threads. The final discussion thread is a pledge which is obligatory.
