Standard First Aid - Level C CPR/AED Recertification

Course Description

This course is intended for those who have a Standard First Aid - Level C certificate that has not expired. It includes a review of essential skills with a focus on theoretical and practical skills testing. Includes Level C CPR recertification and AED recertification.

Important information about this course:
• You will need a current ALBERTA Standard First Aid - Level C certificate when taking the course. The previous course must have been the complete (2) day Standard First Aid - Level C CPR Course.
• You need to bring your current certificate with you to present to the instructor at the beginning of the class
• Course starts promptly at the start time stated. Students who are late may be refused admission.
• Appropriate clothing is required (i.e. jeans, pants, proper footwear such as running shoes). You will be required to do practical exercises during this course.
• Please be advised that participants who are unable to perform the required exercises will not pass the course. (Eg. Employees who are on Worker's Compensation on light duty.)
• Please have photo ID available upon request for exam/temporary certification purposes.
• Please Note:"According to protocols for Alberta, recertification can only be for Alberta tickets".

Withdrawals and Refunds

 Your registration will be fully refunded when notice of withdrawal is given three (3) working days before the course start date. When notification is received less than three (3) full days before the course start date no refund will be issued. If you are unable to attend your course, you may arrange for someone to take your place by contacting Continuing Education & Corporate Training at work@northernlakescollege.ca or 780-849-8623.

Cancellation

Northern Lakes College reserves the right to re-schedule or cancel a course that lacks sufficient registrations to provide a satisfactory learning atmosphere. In this event your registration fee will be refunded in full or applied to the re-scheduled course.

Fee Payment

Fee Payment: Fees are due at the time of registration. Northern Lakes College accepts cash, cheque, money order, debit, VISA, MasterCard, American Express. Invoicing to a company requires a Purchase Order (PO).
