Course Description

The PCP Foundations II course provide students with the skills to practice in the pre-hospital care setting. This includes theory and laboratory practice with a strong emphasis on reviewing the skills and knowledge learned in Foundations I. Students will be introduced to medication administration and pharmacology, emergency care for medical conditions, care for the mental health client, care of the obstetrical client, management of childbirth, care for special populations, and MCI and triage.
